St. Timothy Elementary is an Eco-Certified School in Burlington, ON and part of the Halton Catholic District School Board. A large concrete retaining wall, dying shrubs, and compacted earth presented unique design challenges at this site. Introducing rolling topography, tall native shrubs, a log climber, and a fully accessible sand area transformed the kindergarten play space into a natural setting that engages students and teachers alike.
