Brightpath Windermere Childcare Centre
We curated spaces that met the needs for each of the different age groups at Brightpath Windermere with small rolling hills and differing tactile surfaces for infants/toddlers, sand areas and creative for preschool and then got into more open-ended play areas for the older children.
Milled log benches were installed in the infant area for assistance in mobility and gross motor development, river rock for variation in surfacing to challenge core strength and crawl through, and numerous mirror and acrylic panels for discovery.
The toddler section contains a music/gathering area, seating, and creative play opportunities that also focus on fine motor development. Small planting pockets, curriculum cabinets and a custom Whoville house built into the fence line.
The after school-aged area includes wacky posts, a hill grade, larger climber piece, amorphous log with ship line/rope, and plenty of acrylic and chalkboard panels for creative & interactive play.
