WORKSHOPS OR WEBINARS WITH EDUCATORS

Learning Solutions that Make a Difference

Take advantage of your school’s outdoor environment to support success in your classroom. Entering kindergarten can be overwhelming for both teachers and students.

This workshop series provides outdoor solutions for teachers to support the many needs of their young students. Find ways to support transitions, routines, and circle time, while helping children to self-regulate, attend, and focus. In this series, we will showcase how outdoor child-led play will build and strengthen these foundational skills needed to foster independent work, collaboration with peers, problem-solving, and the motor skills needed to effectively hold a writing utensil to support printing.

Learn how to create an outdoor learning environment where children are successful, and teachers can align with the four frames (belonging, engagement, expression, and well-being) needed for children to grow and flourish. This is an ‘outdoor how-to series’ with hands-on activities that can be easily transferred to any playgrounds.
